Analysis

The First Analysis show us the Driver Race Pace for all the laps when the flag was Green(i.e Track Status was 1). The filter below it provides us the legend for drivers.

Here we plotted Drivers on the x-axis and Lap Time in Seconds on the y-axis. And then we made a box plot with the median of all Lap Times and Sorted it according to the Median.

We can see that Sainz had the fastest Pace followed by Alonso. And the worst race pace is shown by Sargaent then Hamilton.

Results

The second Analysis show us the fastest laps of all drivers and the gap and the positions are decided as the minimum lap time being on top and the least in the bottom.

Delta Time

The third Analysis is Delta Time Analysis for the fastest laps of Alonso, Hamilton, Leclerc, Sainz and Perez. Sainz had the fastest time out of all hence he is taken as the 0 line value and all the others lines are the gap at that specific distance from Sainz's time. The Lines are colored according to Driver their legend is below the anlysis only.

Team Race Pace Comparison

The Fourth Analysis show us the Team Race Pace for all the laps when the flag was Green(i.e Track Status was 1). The filter below it provides us the legend for Teams.

Here we plotted Teams on the x-axis and Lap Time in Seconds on the y-axis. And then we made a box plot with the median of all Lap Times and Sorted it according to the Median.

Ferarri had the fastest race pace followed by RedBull. And the worst Race pace is shown by Williams, and Mercedes.

Free Practice 1(Part 2)

Weather Analysis

The First two Analysis show us the Weather Evolution throughout the session.

We can see that The Air Temp and Track Temp remained constant with little changes so their were very less changes in the driving conditions and car grip etc for the session.

Tyre Degredation

The third Analysis show us the tyre degredation of all compounds throughout we can see as time goes on hard becomes faster then mediums in the last parts of the session.

Free Practice 2

We can see that Sainz had the best race pace here then followed by Leclerc, and Norris. And the worst race pace is shown by Perez, Gasly and Bottas. Mclaren is again showing some good pace but we need to see if they can maintain it in the race.

Results

The second Analysis show us the fastest laps of all drivers and the gap and the positions are decided as the minimum lap time being on top and the least in the bottom.

Delta Time

The third Analysis is Delta Time Analysis for the fastest laps of Verstappen, Norris, Sainz, Leclerc and Alonso. Verstappen had the fastest time out of all hence he is taken as the 0 line value and all the others lines are the gap at that specific distance from Verstappen's time.

We can see that Ferarri and Mercedes had the fastest race pace. And the worst race pace was shown by Red Bull followed by Alpine but as we can see that Red Bull also had the fastest lap time so maybe their drivers were not pushing very hard.

Free Practice 2(Part 2)

Weather Analysis

The First two Analysis show us the Weather Evolution throughout the session.

We can see that The Air Temp was constant with little changes hence not much change in driving conditions. But Track Temp was decreasing gradually meaning better grip with time.

Tyre Degredation

The third Analysis show us the tyre degredation of all compounds throughout we can see as time goes on medium and soft give similiar lap times, while hards weren't used for long hence we cant say what was there pattern fully.

Free Practice 3

We can see that Verstappen had the best race pace here then followed by Hamilton. And the worst race pace is shown by Devries and Piastri.

Results

The second Analysis show us the fastest laps of all drivers and the gap and the positions are decided as the minimum lap time being on top and the least in the bottom.

Delta Time

The third Analysis is Delta Time Analysis for the fastest laps of Verstappen, Perez, Sainz, Stroll and Norris. Verstappen had the fastest time out of all hence he is taken as the 0 line value and all the others lines are the gap at that specific distance from Verstappen's time.

We can see that Redbull Racing, and Mercedes had the fastest race pace. And the worst race pace was shown by Alpha Tauri and Mclaren. ALthough one of the Mclaren Drivers had the top 5 Fastest Lap for the session we can see that Mclaren is still struggling. They really need to do something and very fast.

Free Practice 3(Part 2)

Weather Analysis

The First two Analysis show us the Weather Evolution throughout the session.

We can see that The Track Temp and Air Temp both were increasing gradually meaning decreased grip for the drivers and also the conditions to drive were becoming hotter and difficult.

Tyre Degredation

The third Analysis show us the tyre degredation of all compounds throughout all drivers used softs in FP3 hence we don't have data for any other compound.

Qualifying Sessions

In the Center we Have the results of Qualifying Sorted according to the positions with driver times, driver numbers and broadcast names.

We also have plotted the tyre degredation and avg. Lap Time Evolution on the right side of the results.

Also we showed the how track temperature and air temperature changed over time.Air Temp got hotter first then got colder meaning drivers had a little difficult conditions for driving at start but then the conditions improved. And the Track Temp decreased gradually meaning drivers had increasing grip as time went on.

We also plotted the cumlative delta Time of the Top 5 finishers fastest laps all over qualifying with respect to Ver and saw where did the others lost time.

Race Analysis

Race Analysis

Driver Pace Analysis

Here we plotted Drivers on the x-axis and Lap Time in Seconds on the y-axis. And then we made a box plot with the median of all Lap Times and Sorted it according to the Median.

We can see that Verstappen had the fastest race pace followed by Alonso and then Ocon. The worst race pace is shown by De vries followed by Bottas. Again Nyck De Vries is not performing as a person with experience in racing formats and car testings should.

Top Speed With and Without DRS

The Second Analysis is showing the top speed of drivers with DRS and without DRS. The Red Values are with DRS and the Yellow ones's are without it.

Position Changes Per Lap

The Third Analysis is showing us how the position's changed as the race went on. And also it has a line where the Position Value goes to 0 (it is used to represent that the driver has retired due to any problem or crash).

Red Bull Racing The winners of last year constructors championship had the Fastest Race Pace, then it was followed by the Mercedes. The worst Race Pace was shown by Alfa Romeo and then Williams.

Some other Analysis

Best Possible Time Per Compound

The First Analysis show us the Best Possible Time Per Compound Possible.

Here we plotted Compounds on the x-axis and Time in Seconds on the y-axis. And then we took the minimum time per compound for each sector and added them to get the best possible time on that compound.

We can see that the Medium and Hard Compound shows the Best possible time followed by Softs.

Best Possible Time Per Driver

The second Analysis is the Best Possible Time Per Compound per Driver. If the minimum time of all sectors of a driver are added we get this time.

Fastest Lap Times Per Driver

The Third Analysis show us the fastest Lap Times Per Driver.

Here we plotted Drivers on the x-axis and Time in Seconds on the y-axis. And then we made the bar graph of all the fastest laps of each driver and colored it by Driver.

We can see that Hamilton had the fastest lap out of all the drivers. And Leclerc and Gasly were only tenths of seconds behind Hamilton.

Tyre Strategy Analysis

The Fourth Analysis show us the tyre strategies of all Drivers for the whole race. It shows us what strategies did the drivers thought to do. Did anyone make an undercut or an overcut pitstop. What all strategies are used and much more.

Here we plotted Drivers on the x-axis and Lap Number on the y-axis. And then we made a circlular discrete plot with colors as Compound so that when the compound is changed the color of circle is also changed.

We can see that mostly all the drivers opted for first the medium compound and then the hard compound of tyre but as rain started they changed to intermediates or wets whichever suited them.
